FAQs

What is Life Therapy?
Who is it for?

This type of Therapy allows you to express your concerns, difficult emotions and needs in a structured, safe, and confidential environment. It is beneficial to you whether you have substance use problems, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship problems, self-esteem issues, or simply need guidance in your life. The treatment process allows you to vent your problems, reflect on your thoughts, learn life skills, and build psychological resilience. Life Therapy is helpful for those who wish to get through a difficult phase in life, but also for those who seek to really realize their full potential, personally and professionally in the world.

Like a therapist, a life coach is someone who can help you identify strengths and weaknesses and overcome obstacles holding you back. Coaching helps you set and achieve goals and therapy helps you recognize and solve your problems in life. A coach has the job to challenge you frequently vs a therapist is there to support you with empathy and understanding although they might gently challenge you.

A life coach can assist you with setting goals and creating an action plan to reach those goals. A therapist can help you achieve some of your goals too, but they can offer deeper self-exploration, plus cognitive tools for healing and managing mental health. Daramus A. (2021).
